I am having trouble exporting my library to a bibtex file using Better BibLaTex - whenever I try, I recieve the error "An error occurred while trying to export the selected file" with the window "Javascript Application".

You'll have to report that to the author of the Better BibTeX plugin, though I'm guessing it's this:

A showstopper bug has been found in the 0.6 series that I'm currently (2014-080-12) addressing. I expect the problem to be fixed today, but I'm doing extra testing; meanwhile, I've pulled the XPI for safety. It will be up as soon as possible, probably later today but certainly this week.
