Citations in footnotes vs frames

Hello,

I am fiddling around with the csl editor to accomodate my needs. My in-text citations are numbers, refering to a footnote on the same page. I then added a prefix "cf. "to the Inline Citation layout. I am using Iceweasel & Apache OpenOffice.

So far everything worked fine except:
1) in frames (i.e. caption to figures and tables), the in-text citation is (automatically?) different: Zotero does not insert a number but the short citation text directly, which is okay for me. However, here I do not want to have this preceeding "cf. ". Is there a way to achieve this?

2) Citations inserted into tables are handled like citations into frames. I would like to have them in tables like for regular in-text citations. Any suggestions?

Sorry, the CSL processor isn't able to adapt to context in that way. You'll have to make manual adjustments to the document at the final stage.
  • well, but it should be able to insert footnotes in tables. Can you manually insert a footnote in a table in OpenOffice?
