Linking to a collection?

Is it possible to link (via a url) to just one Collection within one's library? In other words, can one make one collection public, while keeping the rest of the library private?

...and, if this is possible, how does one go about it?

no, you can't make collections public/private individually. Might happen at some point, but not any time soon.
(Obviously you could move the collection you want public to a group and make that public, though).

Well, you can create a rss feed for that collection which will then create a private key ( https://www.zotero.org/settings/keys ). The rss feed is a simple url and you have to decide to whom you want to give it. Am I missing something?

I'm pretty sure the private key is valid for you entire library, though, (and it's included in the RSS URL).

The private key is (at least when I did it) valid for the entire library. I wanted to link to the Zotero site itself, so I followed adam's advice and made a public, closed group and copied the library there.

So you have a sense of why I was asking: I am making a mock-up Omeka site, and at first I went the RSS route and imported library as items, but I didn't like the look of that. Instead, I wanted to just link to the library on the Zotero site, and thus the reason for my forum query. I have a number of other collections in my personal library that have nothing to do with the Omeka site, and thus wanted to only give access to that particular collection.

Uff.. Thank you for the information, I didn't know that before. Would it be possible to create a page in the documentation about RSS Feeds, API Access and Keys? Just explaining the possibilities in https://www.zotero.org/settings/keys and the power of the keys...

I was thinking of an introduction for the less technical advanced users, maybe with a focus on RSS feeds and dealing with API Keys, e.g. https://www.zotero.org/support/rss which could be directly linked from https://www.zotero.org/support/start maybe under "Syncing, Collaboration and Backup". What do you think?
