Citations corrupted and other issues: Error report ID 977223379
Today I started getting the citation corruption errors frequently. As soon as I fix one, another appears. It started when I tried to edit a citation. Initially when I tried to edit a citation Zotero would tell me the cursor would need to be in a citaion, even though it was. So I then deleted the citation and tried to re-insert it. This citation refused to update and I would briefly get a {citation} in the footnote field, and it would dissappear moments later entirely. I tried refreshing the citations, and this led to a number of other citations appearing as corrupt. As soon as I corrected one or two, I get the following error:
"Zotero experienced an error updating your document.
The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus error -1708.) @[selectField:field.m:322]'The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus error -1708.) @[selectField:field.m:322]' when calling method: [zoteroIntegrationField::select]"
I had recently moved a large section of text. Thinking this would be the issue I accepted all changes in that section of the document, but it did not solve it. I also tried toggling the field codes.
I'm using Word for Mac 2011, non-stand alone Zotero. ANy help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the quick response. As there are 800+ citations its likely I am missing the citation!
I'll email the document right away assuming you have a way of figuring it out!

I have not changed anything. Zotero would not recognise citations until I (re)set document preferences. But now I get this error when I try to update, I've tried various citations:
"Zotero experienced an error updating your document.
this.registry.citationreg.citationById[c[0]] is undefined"
1. Accepted changes and turned track changes off
2. I don't have any citations in captions.
3. Copied and pasted into new doc. Still gave errors.
4/5. Created new doc and tried new style. Still gave errors.
6. No biblio.
7. Already done.
8/9: in process now.
