Zotero and Endnote (the inevitable clash)
I have been using Zotero for several years, I avoided the use of Endnote because I simple did not like it. However, and I am at the point in my dissertation when drafts come and go between different people and I am the only one working with Zotero. Today I got the first glance to the inevitable clash, I got a request "to share" a copy of my "EndNote library". So I exported the library as a *..enlx file and share it with a note indicating that I don't use Endnote and that if for any reason there was a modifications to any of the citations, to please let me know and that I will take care of it...
I know that probably this have happened to more than one person, and I will like to know if you have any piece of advise.

adamsmithFor a start, Zotero doesn't export as .enlx. You can import in various formats that Endnote imports--like RIS and Endnote XML--but those aren't actually Endnote library files. It depends on what people want to do with the "travelling" library, but if they want to use it to edit citations in your document that won't do.
