Downgrade to earlier version of Firefox plugin

How can I downgrade to an earlier version of the Firefox plugin? The only one that is available on the download page is 4.0.21.5 and I'd like to use an earlier version.

    Why exactly do you want to use an earlier version? What isn't working in the current version?

    @Oxa - all old versions follow the same download pattern, e.g. 4.0.20 is at https://download.zotero.org/extension/zotero-4.0.20.xpi
    etc. All version numbers are listed in the changelog: https://www.zotero.org/support/4.0_changelog
