Merge items (specifically tags and notes) from two different libraries

I am attempting to merge two libraries to generate one library that includes notes and tags from the two input libraries. Does anyone have an idea of how I can do this?

    It's not totally clear to me what you're trying to do here. Could you explain a bit more?

    If these are two unrelated libraries that happen to have some of the same items and you want to merge those items and retain notes and tags, you can export from one to the other as Zotero RDF and then use Zotero's Duplicate Items and merging features to merge the items together.

    But it's worth explaining exactly what you're trying to do, because there may be other ways or potential pitfalls to be aware of.
