Firefox 30 Not being compatible with Zotero

I downloaded the latest version of Firefox (30) on Tuesday, and since then, anytime I open up the Zotero side-bar it crashes my browser. I can run my browser perfectly fine, but when I try to open the side-bar the browser immediately closes without me being able to navigate in the side-bar at all.

I can still add things to my library, but I have no way of accessing my library within the browser (other than from the website which isn't as helpful when I'm sharing things in a group folder).

Is there some reason why the latest version of Firefox (30) hates my Zotero window?
  • The only add-on/extensions I have in Firefox are Zotero and Zotero for Word. Chrome is my primary browser (which doesn't allow the side-bar in Zotero), so I only use Firefox for Zotero basically.
  • If this is an actual crash — as in, Firefox is closing completely — go to the URL about:crashes in the address bar and look for a relevant crash based on the timestamps. Click through one of them and provide the Mozilla URL here.
  • Here are the problems I'm seeing (as copied from the Browser Console):

Failed to load native module at path 'C:\Users\Allison Leigh\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\zllwktdd.default\extensions\{CB33D2ED-14C9-DCAD-3381-BB6B770827AC}\components\DatamngrHlpFF10.dll': (80070057) error 126

Here is the URL one of the crash stats:

It doesn't matter what webpage I'm on, whenever I open the side-bar is when Firefox closes out completely. I've tried to open it several different times throughout the day (on several days) and after restarting my computer several times; Firefox still crashes when the Zotero side-bar is opened. Thanks for looking into this!

That crash is actually from the Flash plugin (which Zotero doesn't use). It also looks like you have malware on your system. You should first run a malware checker on your system and then make sure you're running the latest version of Flash. You can also manually remove any extensions you don't recognize in the Firefox Add-ons window.
