restrict Author-date style to Author1 et al., YEAR
Hi there,
I've been using cell and harvard author date styles to cite. I have some papers that are cited as:
Author1 and Author2, YEAR
But i want this to look like:
Author1 et al., YEAR
I'm not great with programming lingo, So using the wonderful "Editing CSL styles-Step-by-step guide" I had manage to change the Cell style to what i wanted, However this did not save and the Code was not validated.
I have skimmed through some of you "citation" related discussion and found one with the code, but didn't know how to use it.
Can you please help?
Cheers,
Tash

This is an old discussion that has not been active in a long time. Before commenting here, you should strongly consider starting a new discussion instead. If you think the content of this discussion is still relevant, you can link to it from your new discussion.
If you do want to do it, the setting that you want to look for is
et-al-min="3"
and you want to change this to 2, that's the only thing you need to do and with that there shouldn't be any validation issue.
