Unable to create New Sub-Collection

I'm currently in an online college course which requires me to have a Zotero account. We are supposed to create a specific "Collection" and also specific "Sub-Collections." I successfully created my Collection, but cannot figure out how to create the sub-collections. Every instruction I have found says to right-click the file icon or the collection itself and I should see an option to create new sub-collection. When I right click the collection, there is not an option for sub-collections. Can someone help? I must be doing something incorrectly. Thank you

    If you're trying to do this on the website, instead of in the desktop Zotero client, you should just click the "Create Collection" button. That will allow you to select the "Parent Collection" of the new collection.

    yes you should. The web version is quite limited.

    Okay, I have installed and updated the desktop version. Thank you for the help. If I have the desktop version on my work computer, I will have download on my home computer, as well, correct? If I do the web version, I will have info and collections at both locations? Trying to figure out which will work best for me related to this class. That's all I'm using it for, as of now. I work on school stuff at work and home. Thanks again.

    yes.

    all info will sync between all your installed copies of Zotero as well as the web version, so you'd have it in both locations.
