Unexpected status code 0 caching ZFS credentials

Hi,

I use Zotero at work and I am not able to update file that I modified, especially pdfs (notes, underline, comments etc...). I got this error message when I try to update files:

[JavaScript Error: "Unexpected status code 0 caching ZFS credentials" {file: "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/storage.js" line: 384}]

Before I had modified the file, there was no problem and the file was well uploaded. However, now that I modified the file and that I download it back, the modifications that I made on my computer are no longer present.

Has somebody got the same issue? It should be noticed that proxy authorizations have been recently modified by my company and Zotero has been blocked for a while. Perhaps they forgot to give somme authorisation...

Thanks
  • If you provide a Debug ID for the sync attempt we might be able to give you more info, but yes, that error generally indicates a problem with the network, proxy server, or security software.
  • Sorry I forgot to post it. Here it is: 1638379181
  • Previous debug ID was just a connexion issue. This is the right ID: 2031751072

sync.zotero.org:443 uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.

    (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

  • The certificate seems valid and the connexion secure..

    Now, I got this:

OK, so as the linked page says, this is a problem on your network — your institution is likely intercepting all your secure traffic. Here's the relevant section:
If you see the message “Nothing to see here” after loading https://sync.zotero.org in your browser but continue to get SSL certificate errors in Zotero, your sync requests may be getting interrupted or intercepted, possibly due to malware or security software on your system or a proxy server on your network. [...] If you are in an institutional environment, ask your network administrator if they have installed a “custom root certificate” in your browser — if so, you may be able to follow the certificate override instructions for Zotero Standalone, but be aware that your connection to Zotero is being intercepted.
  • And if you don't want to bother with the certificate override instructions, you can alternatively just use Zotero for Firefox (with the understanding that your connection to Zotero (and every other website) is being intercepted by your institution).
