Upgrade Storage...Index Card Metaphore - Evernote - anyone see EasyBib Notebook?

I am new to Zotero
i am also new to writing a research paper.
i've figured out a lot of the basics for both.
Here's my question
i find it hard to organize and work with my notes without being able to view them
my kids use index cards - there is much to be said for being able to view and organize them
i saw a program called easybib notebook - it seems to have the same metaphore
when i googled it - i couldn't find any reviews or comparisons to zotero or endnote etc.
does zotero allow me to view my notes in a more visual format?
has anyone worked with easybib notebook? - what do you think?
i know that evernote permits me to see my note cards but it leaves me hanging re citations and the bibliography
is there a way to connect evernote to zotero?
