group -- record of admin actions
I am doing the planning to set up a group library for several hundred researchers. Membership in the group will be by invitation and we want everyone to have admin privileges. However, since someone new to the group could inadvertently delete a resource item or make another error, we'd like a way for an "administrative admin" person to be able to look at a record of the recent actions (item added to the collection, note created, etc.) and be able to see what's been happening. That way if there's an accident, we'd know about it. We are thinking that person could keep a copy of the library on his/her own machine (Firefox browser) to restore the root library in a synch process if it's needed. Is there a way to do this?
Also, you can't restore a group library (and you don't really want to, because it could easily cause all sorts of conflicts for group members). But someone can certainly keep a copy of the group in their personal library so that individual items can be restored if necessary.
(Also, just to clarify, the point of admin privileges is for people to be able to invite others to the group or to have editing access when other group members don't. If you just want everyone to have editing access, there's no need for everyone to be an admin.)
