ML Zoterto Jurisdiction in "American Style"

I am having trouble removing the "us" in the following citation and all citations for cases.

NicSand, Inc. v. 3M Co., 457 F.3d 534 (us 6th Cir. 2006).

The "us" is not in the 19th Ed. of the book "American Style" is based on.

Can anyone help me remove this from all case citations regardless of jurisdiction?
  • I just put up a Storify of screenshots that covers this wrinkle:

  • @btmorrow: If those steps don't work for you, let me know. If there are rough spots, we definitely want to smooth them out.
  • You are amazing. Thank you so much... that fix worked perfectly!

I am going to share this with all my classmates in Hawaii.
  • That's great to hear. The Abbreviations Filter was recently cleaned up quite a bit, and a few more improvements are in store for the next week or two.

Eventually I want to work out a way to specify citation forms for individual jurisdictions as separate files that can be "plugged in" to a core MLZ style. If we can get that working, the style code will be simpler, and community maintenance will become a viable proposition.

Small steps; but the tool should gradually grow stronger over time.
  • Frank, I'm sorry to go slightly off topic but did you take a look at this issue ? (I assume that could work with vanilla zotero ?)
