Problem Adding Items to Library

In JSTOR I'm trying to add a new article. Zotero shows "Adding to Zotero Library ..." but in fact the item is not added. I've synced my library, gone out and back into Firefox. I emptied the trash. I've never had this problem before. Suggestions?

same problem with other databases? Either way, make sure you're checked these as they apply: https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues
and the post a URL (as you see it) and an error report ID after a failed import.

I'm returning to this problem which appears to be particular to JSTOR. I'm not sure this is helpful but here is what I copied from the url window:
