Firefox freezing when I try to sync Zotero

I just downloaded zotero to a 2nd computer. When I try to sync my zotero librar the green arrow spins for a few seconds and then everything freezes. Eventually a message comes up asking me which version of the Zotero User guide I want to keep, I select the remote one, click Done, it resumes syncing for about a second and then it freezes. I restarted Firefox after force quitting so that I could start the debug process. I clicked on enable Debug, following the online instructions, I then started the sync process, but then the whole thing froze so I couldn't even go back to the preferences to finish the debug process. This is verrrrry frustrating.

    It sounds like you just need to wait for the sync to complete. There is a stage during a large sync job when it will lock up the user interface, but if you wait some time, it will finish.
