Does large amount of saved search folders interfere performance?

Hi,

I have a plenty of saved search folders (most with Regex criteria). I am wondering if these folders interfere performance in large data database (8,000 items/PDFs). I mean by performance not the direct usage of the saved search folders, but their possible connection with the overall Zotero performance regarding:

a) search using the regular search tool which is presenting lengthy delays to list files.

b) search using the Word addon to insert files into the document, which is presenting lengthy delays to list files as well.
