Style Error: Journal of the Air & Waste Management Association
The existing Journal of the Air & Waste Management Association (JAWMA) style from the style repository uses number as in-line citation. This is different from the instructions from the journal.
The author instructions says:
"References must be formatted according to the reference style listed in the Chicago Manual Guide 16th edition, reference list in author-date style (see pages 792–800) with the following exception—initials should be used for author first names and middle initials. JA&WMA titles may be abbreviated per the BIOSIS Serial Sources style."
and
"In-Text Citations. In text citations should consist of the author’s last name and publication year, separated by a comma. For works with more than three authors, use only the last name of the first author followed by et al."
There are examples in the instructions, which is available at:
http://www.awma.org/publications/journal/submit-a-manuscript (first document under the Formatting and Style Guidelines section)
Can someone help? Thanks in advance!

Further, I noticed there is a style called "Taylor & Francis - Chicago Manual of Style (author-date)". However, this style too does not take in to account the exceptions mentioned in the original post - initials should be used for author first names and middle initials.
I'll look at this when I get a chance, but it may take a couple of days.
Styles also update automatically within 24hs for Zotero 4.0+
In an existing document, you may have to switch to a different style and back for the changes to take effect once the style is updated.
Any further problems please let us know & thanks for reporting
Could you please fix the comma issue as described in journal guidelines:
"In text citations should consist of the author’s last name and publication year, separated by a comma. For works with more than three authors, use only the last name of the first author followed by et al."
Present style does not include a comma between author and date. I am not too worried about the et al rule since published examples in the journal too do not follow it.
A somewhat unrelated issue, NOT particular to a style but just a generic issue: When I go from in-text number style to in-text Author-Date style, I notice a problem with the citations at the end of a sentence. With Number style, especially those that have citations as superscripts, the citation is placed after the period that marks the end of the sentence. However, if one switches to Author-Date, the citation must now be placed before the period.
Presently, I am moving the period manually. Any thoughts about this?
I don't think there is a good way to automate the different placement of different types of citations. It's certainly not possible at this time, but I don't think we'll try to implement it, so yes, manually moving periods (and frequently spaces) is the best way to go.
1. Remove quotes (") from article/conferencepaper/website titles; basically remove quotes from everywhere. Currently, the style is adding quotes (").
2. Add an access date tag at the end of webpage entries. A correct use example:
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. 2012. National Emissions Inventory (NEI) air pollutant emissions trends data. http://www.epa.gov/ttnchie1/trends (accessed August 12, 2013).
Thanks!

Thanks!
I am submitting my paper for internal review in a couple hours and will use the style from the link in Rintze's comment. The paper is expected to be submitted to the journal editor later in the coming week. Thus, in case any further changes are made to the style, I can re-download it.
Highly appreciate the help from each of you.
The only issue I saw is that the style I downloaded has its update date set to 9/27/2012. While the current style on the repository is 6/16/2014. Thus, if I request for an "update styles" in Zotero's General Preferences tab, Zotero overwrites the new, corrected style with the one in the online repository.
