Citing Sources NOT Next to Each Other In a List

Hi there,

I was wondering if there is a way to select multiple sources to "Create a Bibliography" if they are not next to each other in one's list. For example, say I have these sources:

A
B
C
D
E
F

I only want to select A, C, and F and create a bibliography from those. I do NOT want the bibliography to contain sources B, D, or E. How would I do this, other than grouping the sources I want to cite into a folder and selecting from that folder?

My Zotero database is pretty large, and I want to be able to quickly select many sources that are not next to each other in a list.

Thanks,
Lexi

Try using the Zotero word processor plugin https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_integration

Edit: unless you specifically don't want to. Then you can use Ctrl/Cmd click to select items that are not adjacent. You'd still have to scroll and find them though.
  • And there are various other strategies: You can tag the ones you want included, then filter by tag and select all; you can place the ones you want in a bibliography into collection and the select all etc.
