Displaying Multiple Month Entries for Magazines in MHRA Style

I was wondering if anyone else uses magazines that have multiple month editions (e.g. June&July 1970). I'm using a number of magazines with this format and the current MHRA style only seems to display the last month entered

e.g. Kepner, Jim, ‘Introduction to the Western Homophile Conference Keynote Address’, The Ladder, July 1970, p. 13

rather than:

Kepner, Jim, ‘Introduction to the Western Homophile Conference Keynote Address’, The Ladder, June/July 1970, p. 13

I have tried various ways of getting it to include both months (separating them with / - & and) but this has not worked. Other than manually changing the entries myself, does anyone have any suggestions for how to work around this problem?
  • can't currently be done, but you could consider entering June/July as an issue (which it is) rather than a date.
  • I tried this, but the style doesn't currently display issue numbers at all, and so that solution leaves just the year visible.

However, displaying the issue for magazines isn't standard for MHRA (I believe) so adjusting the style this way might create more problems for others than it's worth.
  • good point. I don't think there's a good workaround at this point, then. We're aware of the issue and will get date-range support in Zotero, but not super soon.
  • Not to worry. It isn't a major issue, just wondered if anyone was having similar problems. Thanks for your time.
