Text references with square brackets
Is there any citation style that uses square brackets? This is what I'm looking for:
5.8. References
[1] Vellacott ID, Cooke EJ, James CE. Nausea and vomiting in early pregnancy. Int J Gynecol Obstet 1988;27(1):57–9. [Journal]
[2] Speroff L, Glass BH, Kase NG. Clinical Gynecologic Endocrinology and Infertility. Baltimore: Williams and Wilkins; 1982. [Book]
[3] Disaia PJ, Creasman WT. Invasive Cancer of the Vulva. In: Disaia PJ, Creasman WT, eds. Clinical Gynecologic Oncology. St Louis: C.V. Mosby; 1984:214–9. [Chapter in book]
[4] World Health Organization. WHO Recommended Surveillance Standards. Second Edition. http://www.who.int/csr/resources/publications/surveillance/whocdscsrisr992.pdf. Published 1999. Accessed January 15, 2012. [Online]
Text references should be indicated by Arabic numerals in square brackets on the line (not superscript): for example, [1–4] and [1,5,11,17]. To avoid any delays in the editing process, authors must make every effort to ensure that each reference is correct and complete. Incomplete references will be returned to the principal author for completion before the manuscript is edited.
Thanks so much for your help.

Since, I assume, this is for the International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics I'd try the former.
Any problems please let us know.
References
Reference numbers are typed as superscripts, enclosed by square brackets, after the punctuation mark at the end of the line.
Example: ...... with no evidence of testicular intratubular neoplasia.[1]
References follow the ICMJE guidelines. Author’s surname is followed by author’s initials in capitals without spaces or full stops. Journal names are abbreviated according to Index Medicus. All references show page numbers in the format (121-6). The commonly cited types of references are shown here, for other types of references such as newspaper items the authors are recommended to refer to ICMJE Guidelines (http://www.icmje.org or http://www.nlm.nih.gov/bsd/uniform_requirements.html).

We're going to look at adding a style for this journals, but for styles with that format now available, see e.g.
Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology
Spectroscopy Letters

It's my university's silly request for my PhD thesis format. Can anyone help ?
If that doesn't work, there are some additional options among these https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=vancouver (though not all of them fit your description, obv.)
