Change citation formats in Word document

When you make the first citation in a Word document, Zotero prompts you to choose the citation style and format, and then it uses the format for all subsequent citations. But how do you change it? I accidentally chose the wrong one, and saved my changes to the document before I realized my mistake. Now I can't figure out to fix the problem, although I'm sure it's simple. I appreciate any help anyone can offer.
