Source info for "Thesis"
When manually inputting information for a "Thesis," the field "Publisher" should be replaced with school or institution, no?
Also, is there a way for the "Type" of thesis to appear as Ph.D. as a default? I don't know about others out there, but I've only cited M.A. or other theses once or twice in all my years of research.
Thanks,
David

kkrausedited January 29, 2007I can speak to the first part of your question: because APA, MLA, and Chicago style all require the institution name (e.g., U of Illinois, George Mason University) in lieu of publisher for theses and dissertations, your best bet, as you suggest, is to insert the name of the university into the "Publisher" field.
