Can 'Related' information from the standalone client be synced to the web version
I'm working on an index to show where certain books (artists' books in my library's collection, in this case) are referred to in a certain body of other books (reference works about artists' books).
I've been working in the standalone client. I started by creating two different folders of citations: one for the artists' books themselves, and one for critical reference books about artists' books. When I find that an artist's book from the first folder is cited in a reference book from the second folder, I've been using the "Related" function in the standalone client to link them.
I plan to make this a group library, to be shared with other librarians who work with collections of artists' books. But when I sync with the web client, the "Related" tags disappear, and there doesn't seem to be a way to add them in the web client.
Is there a way to make sure that the "Related" status carries over in syncing? If not, is there a way to add it again, item by item, in the web client?
An alternative is that I could just use tags instead. Could create a controlled vocabulary of tags to identify where the artists' books are cited, and those tags would refer to the reference resources in another folder. But the "Related" status is just so tidy in the standalone client that it's ideal.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

Do you know roughly when it will start to be exposed? Trying to decide whether to wait until then before forging ahead too deeply into the project...
