Older version of Zotero worked with most sites then newer

As suggested by Dan Stillman I have started this thread because I found that the older versions of Zotero worked with most of, if not all, the sites I used (this was a year ago when Firefox first had an education edition or something like that on their homepage which pointed out Zotero). I'm not sure which version I used that worked but I'm guessing when Zotero was still a beta. It is a bit hard to tell if it will work now because I know a most of the sites have done up their webpages however my universities library website looks like it hasn't changed a bit and I'm sure it used to work fine with the older version as did most sites. Here is a link to my universities library website: http://voyager.ocs.mq.edu.au
If you need any more information let me know. However, I will most likely not check back for a while cause I'm pretty busy with an assignment at the moment and then I'll moving back into college later in the week.
