How to deal with multi-author word/oo.org docs?

How do people currently deal with multi-author documents where the two authors aren't using the same zotero library? As far as I can see adding new citations between the two authors machines won't work properly at present unless they're based on the same zotero library

    Your analysis is correct; the current design is pretty fatally-flawed that way. I guess one shorter-term solution is to leave it to one person to manage the formal citations.
