Better display of search results
Hey all,
When I conduct a search (say 'India') across all my documents, I get thrown a huge list of everything that contains any mention of the word, which is great. However, given that my collection is over a 1000 items, I want to be able to relatively quickly determine a way of figuring out which items are important and which aren't.
Given that Zotero has a very powerful search function, displaying some preliminary steps as output would be very helpful.
It would be great to see pointers to some phrases in which the word is used (like a google search) in the results of the search (rather than just a list of files that match)
Additionally, there could be a column that displays how many times a word shows up in a document, and results should be able to be sorted by that number. This could be a precursor to sorting by 'relevance' or some such, which would be a bit harder to determine and implement.
Just a search counter and an in-text display would be a small edit which would be a HUGE help to researchers who aren't so good at remembering what information they already have and navigating the flood of content.
I've looked around everywhere for a setting or a plugin to help with this, and I can't seem to find it. I was watching my friend use Mendeley, and they had the search results highlight instances of the phrase in each document. I really hope this can come into Zotero, since it is such a useful feature, and I really don't want to migrate to Mendeley, since it's not open source.
Thanks =)
(a similar thread is also in general, since i'm not entirely sure where this should go)

adamsmithplease don't double post, no need to make feature requests in separate posts (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/36113/better-display-of-search-results/#Item_0 )
