could you do something like the ms office makro for oo to?
or even better a oportunity for zatero to scan through text files for shortreferences (similar to bibtexkeys) and check wether it has entries for those. If yes it would be perfect if it would create a bibliographie for the textfile based on the matches and point out for what references it has no data availible.
i'm not quite sure yet how one can solve the problem, that the shortreference in texts sometimes has to differ from bibtexkeys according to the citationstylesheet
