Modifying the Unified Style for Linguistics

Hi all,

Any help would be gratefully received:

Mouton de Gruyter require the Unified Style for Linguistics, which is available on the repository. They then specify that they want 'and' rather than the ampersand in in-text citations and want a space after the colon in (Author Date: page refs) quotes.

I am a beginner to coding - how can I modify the code to do as they ask?

I have notepad and wordpad...

    That shouldn't be too hard - could you specify a bit more what this is for? A book manuscript with de Gruyter?
