"An error has occurred..."

I am regularly getting reports of an unspecified error requiring that I quit Firefox and start again. These are happening frequently (at least every 5 - 10 minutes). I mostly work in ScienceDirect, and the frequent need to quit everything and start again is quickly making Zotero unusable.

There are no details to the error - so I have no idea if this is something I can fix, or if having to frequently restart Firefox is just a necessary part of using Zotero.
  • In the Advanced pane of the Zotero prefs, click Check Database Integrity. If it says it found errors, you need to upload your database to the DB Repair Tool. If you haven't yet, you should also upgrade to Firefox 3, which fixes database instability problems in Firefox 2.

    Also, for future reference, if you get an error in Zotero, you should use Report Errors under the Actions (gear icon) menu to report it and then post the Report ID here.
