Paid storage - expiry date
Hi, my paid storage was due to expire 4 April.
Today, 3 April, I renewed it (though at a lower level as I found I wasn't using the extra storage I'd paid for last year).
However, the new expiry date shown is not 4 April 2015, as I expected, but 3 April 2015.
If you renew before your expiry date, do you only get 1 year's storage as from the renewal date? I had assumed the time would be added on. It doesn't seem fair if users lose time just by renewing early. If I've got it wrong however please enlighten me. Thank you.

fcheslackWhen you purchase storage and you already have a plan, we calculate how much remaining value you have on your plan, convert that to a number of days at the new storage level, and add that to the year you're purchasing. Because there was less than 12 hours remaining on your subscription it was rounded off and no extra time was applied.

wqmulThanks. I'm not that bothered about 1 day this time but I wanted to make sure that in future, if I renew eg 3 days before expiry, I won't lose 3 days.
