Zonealarm - "identity and data" - address bar icon missing.
Hi all
I'm looking for a work around, I have been using Zotero for awhile and recently noticed an issue with communication between Firefox and the Standalone. As a result I was missing the address bar icon. After hunting for ages I have managed to narrow the issue down to Zonealarm's "identity and data". With this disabled I have had no issues, but it does mean I have to work with this turned off, which I would prefer not to.
As I said, I'm just looking for a workaround as so to run Zotero and Zonealarm's "identity and data".
Thanks
Sam
Windows 7
Firefox - 28.0
Zonealarm - Free - 10.2.081.000
Zotero - 4.0.19

adamsmithI believe Zotero communicates with the browser on port 23119, so you could poke around Zone Alarm with that info, but there have been problems with Zone Alarm before and it's not unlikely that there is no decent workaround. Also - why do you _need_ Standalone to work with Firefox? If you have Standalone closed, you'll get, on average, slightly better import (especially wrt attaching PDFs).
