New version of Zotero - adds weird lines above & below my footnotes!
Since upgrading to the most recent version of Zotero, my pages now have a solid line above and below my group of footnotes at the base of each page. This is as well as the standard 'little bit of a dividing line' that appears above the new solid line. How on earth do I get rid of this? It is not compliant with my University's style for thesis presentations!
I have tried everything to stop this but nothing gets rid of it. Help!

adamsmithpretty sure this has nothing to do with the Zotero update - anything related to footnotes is handled by your word processor - Zotero just tells it "insert footnote here" - so you'd have to look for the relevant setting there
-
returnmigrationI have checked all header/footer settings - nothing.

returnmigrationAnd its only since updating Zotero - I can't be alone in this one.

adamsmithInsert a footnote with your word processor directly, no Zotero involved. How does that look?

returnmigrationWord has now crashed. I am attempting to reconstruct an 8,000 word piece from a corrupted autosave. Wish me luck.

adamsmithsorry about this — only thing I can tell you is that the Word add-on hasn't been updated recently and the Word integration code in Zotero itself hasn't changed for almost a year (and yes, you do seem to be the only person with this problem), so this is very unlikely to be a Zotero issue.
