Has there been any progress on better integration with FreeMind? I know it's been requested a few times. Just wondering where this is going, or if I should just forget about it.

I know full integration is asking a lot, but just being able to reference a freemind map from within zotero - or (gasp) a specific node - or being able to reference a zotero item from within freemind - would rock my world. Seriously. Or just being able to export a Zotero collection into something pastable into freemind...

The core development team has a considerable amount of work to do before they can consider turning to integration with mind mapping tools like Freemind. However, in April an adjustment was made to allow users to store Freemind files inside Zotero. As a result of that adjustment you can relate and tag Freemind files that you chose to store or store links to inside Zotero.

Your final request, about exporting something pastable into Freemind, is currently possible. You can drag and drop citations and references into any text field. To configure these options look at the export tab in the preferences pane.

For the time being this is basically all the interaction there is between Freemind and Zotero. That said, it would be great if community members wanted to start developing a plugin to more tightly connect the two platforms.
