Capital letters and paranthesis is slightly messed up in bibtex export.

I end up with text containing:
... ({RVE)}

and, while that should work fine in latex, at least VIMs syntax highlighting is confused by it.

    thanks. That's not high priority, so unless someone wants to submit a patch it'll take a while to fix.

    A translator fix is now up. Your version of Zotero will automatically update within 24hs, or you can update manually using the "Update Now" button in the "General" tab of the Zotero preferences. If you're using Standalone, restart Zotero and your browser after updating.
