Zotpad crashes

I have the most recent version of Zotpad on my iPad with iOS 7.0.6. I use Dropbox to store all my files in a file called "Readings". When I go to retrieve an item, it will show the pdf as existing, but when I click to open it, Zotpad crashes. I saw in a post that turning off the preemptive attachment cache would help (in an older version), but it didn't help.

Could you please let me know what I should do?

    ZotPad has its own support channels, have you contacted the developer through those?

    I went to the Zotpad site and I was directed here, it seemed.

    The recent development history of ZotPad has been disappointing. A new version is announced regularly but it has not been rolled out. I had the same problem as you, the app crashes on start.

    I'm trying to get along with PaperShip for the time being, hoping that there will be a ZotPad update soon. Maybe that's something that works for you as well.
