Won't cite a pdf.

Hello all! I've been trying to add a citation from my library of a pdf, and zotero acts like it can't even find it in the library. I went back to the original pdf website and saved it to my library again as a website, but the only citation zotero would produce was "Anon". I ran an error report...57865423. They're java script errors but I don't know what they mean.

you can't cite a pdf, it needs to be attached to an item that actually has all the relevant information. Try if this works:
http://www.zotero.org/support/retrieve_pdf_metadata
else right click and select "Create Parent Item" and fill out the information manually.

I'd also recommend you watch some intro videos or read some of the documentation on to familiarize yourself with how Zotero works:

I tried to retrieve the metadata, but it said it couldn't be found.
