Bookmarklet with Internet Explorer IE 11

Is any who who uses IE 11 getting an error "this website is not supported by any Zotero translator." with the Bookmarklet? I have a machine running IE 10 and the Bookmarklet is running fine but the exact same sites and setup is failing with IE 11.

those should certainly work. Does it matter whether you have Zotero Standalone open or not?

I have Zotero Standalone open.

I found the glitch, I went into F12 Developer Tools and changed the "Document mode" from "Edge (Default)" to "10" (or one of the lower ones) and the Bookmarklet worked just fine.

Just a question off hand: Bookmarklet does not seem to work with IE8 or IE9 (passes the error "Saving failed. No items..."; I don't have access to higher versions - anyone with a thought on if it might work with IE10 -> seems to work with IE11. What minimum Javascript version is necessary to get it working?

I thought it'd work with older IE versions - the javascript is pretty limited. You have tried the links above?

Eureka! So I've been driving my IT guys nuts without cause - which is nice for a change...
The problem was - I'd been using a pubmed page, and this does not work with IE8 or IE9 -> and now that you put me on the right path - https://github.com/zotero/translators/blob/master/NCBI%20PubMed.js - says there is no IE browser support; so shouldn't work in any version...
Tough luck - we're IE only ;)

I wonder if we can't make that work with PubMed - I can't believe that's actually a technical limitation, so that might be very simple. I'll take a look next time I boot up Windows (and no, that's not an euphemism for "when hell freezes over" ;)
