Upgrade Storage[MLZ] Abbreviation "hints" cannot be incorporated into a regular abbreviation set?
In an effort to catch two birds with one stone, I copied and pasted the "Hints" phrases into a regular abbreviation file. I was hoping that this "all-in-one" abbreviation set would abbreviate full titles if an abbreviation is available for that particular title, and the hints will pick up the rest and abbreviate phrase by phrase if a full abbreviation is not available.
It doesn't seem to work that way. The combined abbreviation set will abbreviate full titles, but will not abbreviate phrase by phrase. Is this by design? Must the phrase-by-phrase hints be imported separately?

The hints can't be edited through the Abbreviation Filter UI, and they always completely overwrite any previously-registered hints. (I'm not sure what happens if a hints segment is included in an ordinary abbreviation list. Possibly the import routine should just throw an error to avoid confusion.)
