Question about enabling recursive directories
Hello,
Have a zotero database (about 4,000 records and many folders) shared between different computers using the same Zotero account. I am interested in enabling the recursive directory option of about:config; however, many records in our database appear in multiple folders.
Is there any reason these records should be made to appear in just one folder before enabling this option?
If not, any concern for errors, crashes, slowdowns, database corruption, same record appearing multiple times in same folder, etc, after enabling this option?
The two questions above is based on the idea of potential conflicts arising when same record is (a) manually configured to appear in multiple folders and (b) enabling the recursive directory option.
Would appreciate any feedback about what to expect when enabling this hidden option.
With kind regards,
Al

aurimasThere should be no complications. If a record is in multiple subcollections, it will appear only once in the parent collection. If the record is actually duplicated and stored in separate subcollections, then both copies will be shown.
