Scanning a bibliography into Zotero

I thought I already asked this questions a few years ago, but I wasn't able to find it back through search. So let me try again.

Is anybody aware of any software that allows you to scan and extract the relevant fields from a printed bibliography - either automatically (based on an existing style - i.e. you say 'Chicago' and the scanner then goes over the citations and extracts them based on that) or semi-automatically (e.g. whereby one could just 'tag' things like author, title, etc. and then export those fields into Zotero). So essentially the reverse of what Zotero does now.

Even just some tagging software that allows you to mark the relevant parts from a bibliography and then tag them in such a way that it becomes a bibtex file or something.

Thanks!
