Got the following error

Last Error [Exception returned failure code...0x80004005 NS_ERROR_FAILURE etc. when trying to sync

Here is the error. I can only see it when I mouse over the Sync icon, which intermittently spins and has a "Yield" sign:

Can you provide debug output for this error?

Just ten or so lines before "Rolling back transaction" (or, if you don't see that, the end) should be enough.

Sorry..I don't know how to do this. The error message only appears on the mouse-over

(Also, for future reference, the error message should also appear in Report Errors under the Actions (gear icon) menu, so you shouldn't need to type it by hand.)

I have the same problem, these are the last lines appearing on the console:

Please provide a Report ID from Report Errors for the error (or, if there's just a short error in there, the full text of the error).

Also, it's the lines before "Rolling back transaction" that matter, not the lines after. But the error report is likely enough—I just realized the error that ebeutler provided above was truncated.

You might want to try running your database through the DB Repair Tool before upgrading and see if that fixes it. If not, feel free to send the Upload ID to support@zot....org, and we can take a look.

Apparently I cannot get to view the mask to enter login data.

on my other computer running vista I got an impossible to update database error instead.
Am I doing anything wrong?

Alessandro: For the first issue, see the note for non-English users in the account setup section of the instructions page. For the second (which is also a known issue), create an empty 'storage' directory in your Zotero data directory. Also, please post additional issues to new threads.
