Conflicting Metadata / DOI in Web Page Gives Unpredictable? Results

I was trying to pull a citation for this webpage, which has OG metadata embedded:

http://news.mongabay.com/2014/0122-lbell-endangered-sharks-and-rays.html

However, at the end of the page is the citation for the research paper this article is about, which lists doi:XXXXXX/XXXX

Apparently, Zotero is pulling the citation information from the DOI of the paper listed at the end, and not from the embedded metadata from the webpage.

Is there any way to work around this?
  • If this is Firefox, right-click on the address bar icon and you can choose to save with the Embedded Metadata instead.
  • It's unfortunately using Chrome and Standalone... tried the right-click (thought about that) but doesn't work there.

Glad to hear it's in the main code.
