√ [MLZ] Can you abbreviate "authority"?

In abbreviation pane of the Classic view, I don't see the "authority" category. Does that mean I can't abbreviate the "authority" field even by adding something like the following to a .JSON file and importing it? (I've tried but it doesn't seem to work. Below is just a hypo. What I'm really trying to do is to use the abbreviation filter to convert some of the court names to Korean.)

"authority": {
"Supreme Court": "!jurisdiction>>>S. Court."
},

  • It's handled as an institution. The details are at pp. 35 & 36 of the MLZ book.
  • Got it.

    I still don't have a good grasp of how the abbreviation filter runs in MLZ. when you import an abbreviation list, where do they go? In other words, how does MLZ re-claim the abbreviations that were imported in the previous session?

    On a related matter, after importing a pre-packaged list and adding a couple of abbreviations in the abbreviation filter of the classic view, I can't seem to export the entire, enlarged list of abbreviations. An export will only contain the new, manually added abbreviations, not the imported ones. Not sure if this is how it's supposed to work.
  • One more question: do you need to add form="short" element to cs:name to force abbreviation, or is abbreviation filter applied to all names regardless of the form="short" element?
  • I figured it out. Institutions have separate options under CSL-m 1.0.1. It works now!
