Can't drag pdf files to explorer windows

I have Firefox 3 and zotero 1.0.6 installed on Vista. I needed to copy a pdf file to my USB driver, so I tried dragging it from the library window to the explorer window, but it didn't allow me to move the file.
What's wrong?

I don't think that's supported. Click 'Show File' and then you can drag from that explorer window to wherever you want it.
