Extraction of references from a MS-Word file.

Hi, I received a MS-Word file including a Zotero reference list. Can I extract and import into my own Zotero library the references present in this document?

So does this mean that references in a word document cannot be imported into Zotero? Is it not possible with the RTF scan or clipboard?

basically no. You can look at these:
http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/importing_formatted_bibliographies
but I'd question whether that's worth it. The imported data will be poor, you're probably better of importing the items from scratch.

okay thanks. I have another question: what about importing citations from an online source like a university library or amazon etc? I'm using Zotero with Firefox and the folder that is supposed to show up at the right end of the URL that should allow me to import the data doesn't show up.
