next release date (FAQ?)

Hello!

How can I tell when the next release of the standalone plugin will be? I have search the forums for an answer and found multiple posts asking "when is the next release" at various times, but no consistent answer on the release cycle.. Is there a time-based release schedule?

I am particularly interested in seeing this patch in a release:

... as it is a blocker for adoption for me!

Simon and Dan have the definite word on this, but in case they don't get a chance to answer: No, there is no time-based release cycle (Zotero is too small for that), but since the connectors have been fixed in a number of important ways now I'd expect Simon to release a new version pretty soon, i.e. within weeks.

did i miss something or did the 'zotero-connector' plugin for chrome *not* get a release since this post? the last release I see here is still 4.0.8.2 from june 2013:
