I've since cleared the local data to download from the server from scratch and also downgraded Firefox for Windows to the previous version 25.0.1. Nothing works. Since uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox didn't work, I'm really at my wits' end.
What I can try is to copy the entire "storage" folder from my home computer and paste it to my work computer. Is there any problem with this method?
Does that mean somebody has to give you access or the log is missing? (I followed the instruction on screen to send the error log.)
It is what the title of this thread says. Firefox tries to sync, but stops with the ominous exclamation point in a red circle. When I click the red circle, a small pop-up pane comes up with the message "Creator index NaN out of sequence in Zotero.Item.Save()"

The former - only devs employed by CHNM - Dan Stillman, Simon, and fcheslack - have access to error reports for privacy and security reasons. You did everything right.
My guess would be that Frank will need debug output to troubleshoot this, though - but he'll let you know exactly what & how.
@wonblee: Okay, I wasn't sure if it was just a sync issue.
This is the first time I've see this error, and the code for creator storage hasn't changed in quite a long time. I'll send you a client version later today that provides a little feedback so we can figure out what's going on.

What exactly is happening?
