Citations changing.
I use the standalone Zotero for word on a mac with the chrome extension.
Every once in a while I notice a citation previously entered that is incorrect. If I go into the citation with the edit function on the toolbar the correct source shows up and it will be fixed when I hit enter, BUT...how do I stop this from happening? I'm certainly not going to catch them all and how can I be sure that it won't happen again. I'm a little freaked out.
Please help! Save my dissertation.

Also, which Zotero version? And what do you mean by "the edit field"?
I just looked at a footnote, let's say it was number 37. It cited J.S. On LIberty, 8. Citation form is fine, but the citation I had entered was Paul Reeve, Religion of a Different Color, Oxford, forthcoming (or the complete citation of that).
Pretty sure that Mill was not correct, I clicked on the footnote and hit the edit button on the toolbar. The red citation field popped up and it said Reeve. The right source was there, and the footnote was changed back to Reeve when I hit enter, but it had changed to Mill on its own. This has happened more than once.
Next time you see that, could you try clicking the "Refresh" button in the toolbar? If that fixes it, it'd be less of a concern.
Otherwise - this does sound like something corrupted in the document, though not quite sure how/what.
Dan, Simon - any ideas?
