"Open Zotero" (ctrl+cmd+z) doesn't work: 1751445577

  • The message in the error report is a harmless error that isn't related to Zotero.

    Open Zotero is Cmd-Shift-Z, not Cmd-Ctrl-Z. Is that what you mean?

    Also, in Firefox 3 on OS X, Cmd-Shift-Z won't work when a text area (including those in the Firefox interface such as the address bar) has focus, because Redo has precedence. Is that the issue you're experiencing?
  • Yes, it is, entirely.

    I'm sorry to go so long without posting--if you get this, I would be very grateful if you could answer, despite my belated reply.

    Now, with Zotero 1.07, the short-cut has switched to cmd-shift-1. It's still behaving erratically.
  • Firefox reported this error "unrecognized command line flag -foreground":
    Components.utils.reportError("Warning: unrecognized command line flag " + curarg + "\n");
    // To emulate the pre-nsICommandLine behavior, we ignore
    // the argument after an unrecognized flag.
    ++i;

    I'm not sure what you mean by that. Do you mean you switched it in the Zotero preferences?
    Yes, it is, entirely.
    The behavior I described with Redo and text boxes above isn't a bug—that's how it should work in Firefox 3 on OS X. It means you can use Redo when it's available but otherwise still use Cmd-Shift-Z when a text box doesn't have focus.

    Or is there another issue?
